What is Carbon Insetting?

Carbon insetting is an initiative where a company invests in projects that reduce or absorb greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions "within" its own supply chain to offset its CO₂ emissions.

TOWING utilizes biochar-based carbon removal technology to build "insetting" models within supply chains (specifically targeting Scope 3 reductions). We provide comprehensive support for developing projects where companies and producers collaborate to promote decarbonization by commercializing the environmental value generated from agricultural lands.

The Need to Reduce
Supply Chain Emissions

In response to environmental issues like global warming, reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions has become an urgent global priority. Companies, in particular, are increasingly required to reduce their supply chain emissions, prompting many to initiate decarbonization efforts.

Supply chain emissions refer to the total volume of greenhouse gases emitted across all activities related to a product or business, including "raw material procurement," "product manufacturing," and "waste disposal."
